The computer's ability to share information with other computers over a network linked by telephone lines is a major revolution in telecommunications．The Internet，an international network of computer networks，has spread out since the early 1990's．The Internet began as a US network of scientific and military computers in the 1960's．Now it is an international system for sending and receiving electronic mail，software，and electronic documents and picture files all over the world．The Internet has already cut the cost of long-distance communications for many people．In the future it will completely change the way people work．With the Internet，increasing numbers of people can work at home instead of in their office．

We live in a world of advertising. Advertising is any means of bringing information to the public. 1. What is being presented to the public is usually a product or service, such as a car or camera.
